St. John is largely back to normal. The gardens, pool, and grounds have largely recovered. Flowers abound. The green lush foliage has returned. We have been open and welcoming guests since mid-December 2017. St John’s National Park beaches, roads, and trails are open. Shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, gas stations, car rentals, taxis, and ferries are back up and running. While you may see some scars of hurricanes Irma and Maria, the beauty of St John outshines all. So come on down and join us! Soak up some sun. Swim in aqua blue waters. Snorkel beautiful coral reefs. Hike plantation-era trails and discover history at every turn.
We were very fortunate that Estate Lindholm was not greatly damaged by Hurricane Irma, though we are completing storm-related updates and repairs. Visit our Facebook page for regular pictures and updates.
We are well along the road for cleanup and repair and have resumed greeting our guests as of mid-December 2017.
Mother Nature is resilient and healing quickly. The ocean is a crystal clear turquoise, and the sun is warm and bright. While we lost a number of our mature coconut and sea grape trees, the white sandy beaches are now wider and larger.
The VI National Park cleared roads, trails, and beaches, and bars and restaurants have reopened. St. John and the Virgin Islands, remain the gems of the Caribbean and continue to offer our guests a comfortable and enjoyable escape from Winter.
The best way to help Lindholm, and St. John’s hurricane recovery, as a whole, is to visit and support the economy through patronizing local businesses.
Book a reservation and come visit us! We are pleased to share our exciting hurricane stories with you around the breakfast tables on the patios, looking out at the blue Caribbean Sea.☀️🌈
We look forward to hearing from you
We hope to see you soon!
